The end of any term is always a busy one at Wingate School, and this was no exception!
What a fantastic finish to our Spring term!

The Infant children were given the family challenge of decorating eggs. I am always ´blown away´ by the unique ideas and art work and this year was no exception! Prizes were given within each class. Nursery class have been learning about mini-beasts and many of the Nursery entries had taken this theme on board which is lovely – School and Home working hand in hand!

Our annual charity event never ceases to amaze me.

Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 had a sponsored spelling challenge. Nursery had to name a number of mini-beasts.

Wingate Infants have supported the Spanish Cancer Association (AECC) for a number of years now.

This year we raised a staggering 3,352.87€!!! Thank you so much to all involved.

And finally, the children sang to their mums and dads on our last morning before the holidays – A few of our favourite songs including the Easter bunny and a Spring chicken. Everyone loved the performance.

And now for a two week break, recharge batteries, and get ready for what the Summer term brings!

Happy Easter from all the children and Staff of Wingate School!!
