Wingate School pupils have achieved something truly extraordinary in the latest IGCSE examinations. A remarkable 12 awards have been secured: 10 “Best in the World” in English Language and English Literature, and 2 “Best in Spain” in Spanish and Psychology.
One pupil even earned the exceptional double honour of “Best in the World” for English and “Best in Spain” for Spanish — a feat that reflects immense talent and dedication.
What makes this achievement even more impressive is that most of these pupils are not native English speakers, coming from countries such as Spain, Lithuania, and Poland, with only one pupil from the UK. Their success is a testament to their hard work, determination, and the outstanding support from their teachers and families.
