Saturday Learn and Play

Age 3 - 12

Welcome to Saturday Learn and Play!

Wingate are proud to be collaborating with Learning First Tenerife (LFT), who will run the Saturday Learn and Play course. LFT is an official Cambridge Centre and has many years of experience teaching and working with children of all ages.

They have successfully run an English Saturday school in the north of Tenerife for over 10 years. They are renowned for providing quality English teaching where innovative methodologies are tailored to suit diverse learning styles.

They cultivate a ‘love for learning atmosphere’ that lasts a lifetime, and students at LFT, leave being able to express themselves in English with relative ease and confidence. LFT also prides itself in being a warm, welcoming and safe place for all children and their families.

LFT offers the opportunity for your child to pursue the Cambridge English Certificate once they have attained the required level of English proficiency. This esteemed certification not only validates their language skills but also serves as a source of motivation, inspiring them to continue their language-learning journey with confidence and determination.

Why should you register your child for Saturday Learn and Play? Here’s what sets us apart:

  1. Fun and Creative Learning: Our programme is specifically designed to make learning English enjoyable. Through a variety of interactive activities, games, and projects, children not only learn language skills but also develop their creativity and imagination.
  2. Tailored to Every Child: We understand that every child learns differently. That’s why each activity is adapted to suit the educational level and learning style of each individual child, ensuring that they get the most out of their experience with us.
  3. Quality Education: Our curriculum follows the standards set by the Cambridge English Language Assessment, ensuring that your child receives a high-quality English education. Our teachers are native speakers, highly qualified, and experienced in working with children. They are passionate about creating a fun and educational environment where every child can thrive.
  4. Measurable Results: The results speak for themselves. Children who attend our Saturday Learn and Play see significant improvement in their English abilities, particularly in listening and speaking skills. They also gain confidence and fluency in the language, setting them up for success in their academic and personal lives.
  5. Small Class Sizes: We understand the importance of individualised attention in the learning process.
That’s why we keep our class sizes small, with a maximum of 15 children per class. This ensures that our experienced teachers can provide personalised attention to each student, catering to their individual learning styles and needs. With smaller class sizes, children have more opportunities to participate actively, engage with the material, and receive feedback, fostering a supportive and collaborative learning environment where every child can thrive.

Join us at Saturday Learn and Play and watch your child flourish in a supportive, stimulating, and enjoyable learning environment. Register now to secure your child’s place and give them the gift of language learning and fun every Saturday!
