Dear All,
Just a few new diary dates for the rest of term:

March 4th is World Book Day. The children will be involved in lots of reading activities during that week and on Friday 5th March they may come to school dressed as a book character! (Nursery parents please remember that superheroes find it difficult to go to the toilet in their suits!!!! Think of something easy??) It would be great if the children have a book to match their costume!!☺

Charity week begins Monday 22nd March - Nursery class has a sponsored Bug Box challenge - lots of minibeasts to name! Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 will have a Sponsored Super Spelling Challenge! More details to follow at a later date. We will be raising money for the AECC (Spanish Cancer Association)

Easter Art Challenge - For a number of years now we have had an Easter competition - making an Easter bonnet or decorating an egg at home - then bringing our results to school. This isn't possible this year, however, if anyone would like to have an Easter challenge, I´d love to see some Easter art done at home. You could decorate an egg, make a bonnet, Easter bunny.... whatever you like!! Take a photo or two and I´ll put them all together for a great display! All photos by 4pm on Friday 25th March please. Stickers for all those who try! I've attached a couple of photos to inspire you all!!

We break up on Wednesday 31st March for our Easter holidays and return to school on Monday 12th April.
The school photographer has been provisionally booked for 13th and 14th April. (To confirm later.)

On a final note, please can we all respect the school neighbours when driving to and from the school.

Have a good weekend!
