Geography Teacher

We are seeking to recruit an energetic, flexible and dedicated Geography Teacher. It is essential the successful candidate has recent experience of teaching the UK National Curriculum Geography syllabus’ at KS3 & KS4. To be a full-time position, KS3 English is also required.

We are looking for candidates to take a key role and show initiative in delivering a dynamic Geography programme based on the British National Curriculum.

The successful candidate would be expected to:
  • Organise learning resources and the classroom learning environment
  • Develop and foster the appropriate skills and social abilities to enable the optimum development of children according to age, ability and aptitude
  • Assess and record student progress
  • Challenge and inspire pupils to deepen their knowledge and understanding
  • Work in a team of experienced teachers to develop and advance the Secondary Department at Wingate School
  • Be a class tutor
  • Teach KS3, KS4 Geography (Edexcel IGCSE examination board)
  • Teach Year 7 or Year 8 English

Music Teacher

Wingate School is seeking to recruit an energetic, flexible and dedicated part-time Music/Drama Teacher to work in KS1, 2 and 3 as of September 2022.

We are looking for candidates to take a key role, show initiative in delivering a dynamic Music/Drama programme based on the British National Curriculum and be part of the school team who are continuing the progress towards becoming an ‘Outstanding’ school.

The successful candidate would be expected to:

  • Organise learning resources and the classroom learning environment
  • Develop and foster the appropriate skills and social abilities to enable the optimum development of children according to age, ability and aptitude
  • Assess and record student progress
  • Challenge and inspire pupils
  • Work in a team of experienced teachers
  • Teach KS1, 2 and 3
