Holmes and Watson are on Holiday in Nice in the early nineteen hundreds when approached to get back a priceless heirloom.  Events take a turn for the worse when the beautiful Florence Covey is found with her throat slashed and Holmes is arrested for her murder.  Doctor Watson fears his friend may be headed for the guillotine.
